Content Guidelines
- We are glad to receive posts about tech. That can include guides for software, ways to work faster, help on security issues, reviews of devices, comparisons between apps, and advice on digital planning.
- Your draft should be 1,200 to 3,500 words long. Where it fits, add real examples and walk the reader through each step.
- Double check that the facts are current and correct. Only share details that you have tested yourself.
- Send work that has not been posted before. It should be new and not copied from other sources.
- Write in plain terms. Aim for readers who are just starting, but keep it useful for people who already know the basics. Use headings so the content is easy to scan.
- Add short lists and simple spacing so the page does not feel dense.
- Keep ads and sales talk to a minimum. If you want to include affiliate links, ask first and get approval.
Submission Process
Send your guest post by email to contribute@techtipsamerica.com. Please include your article as a Word file or a Google Doc. Add a short author bio, about 50 to 100 words. If you have one, attach a headshot image as well. Also write a few lines about why your topic fits our readers. Our editors usually reply in 5 to 7 business days.
Editorial Standards
Every article you send is checked closely. We look at the writing for quality and for facts. We also make sure it fits our rules for content. If something does not match our style, we will ask you to change it. Sometimes we suggest small edits for clarity. After we review your final draft and say it is good, we will post it. Your bio will appear too, along with a link to your site or your social pages.
